Raytheon Technologies Corp., one of the largest aerospace and defense manufacturers in the world, has committed $4 million to Purdue for a named chair position in the university’s reimagined Mitch Daniels School of Business. This new position will support faculty leadership, discovery, and engagement within business and STEM intersections.

The 24-hour online, social media-driven fundraising effort brought in $105.1 million through 36,875 gifts—bringing Purdue Day of Giving’s cumulative total since its launch in 2014 to $602.1 million.
