Ambassadors help lead alumni activities through their international network and represent Purdue to their communities. Our ambassadors:

  • Support nearly 90 international networks representing more than 40,000 alumni and friends outside the U.S.
  • Facilitate over 100 annual activities around the world, engaging more than 1,500 participants
  • Represent Purdue in their communities by engaging with current and prospective students, alumni, friends of the university, and visiting faculty and staff

As longtime Purdue international alumni ambassadors, committee members advance alumni recognition, provide strategic feedback, and strengthen connections between international alumni and the university.

Christina Arauco Escobar

Originally from Latin America, Arauco Escobar earned a Master of Science in construction management at Purdue. She previously studied architecture in Canada and Mexico. Arauco Escobar has worked in construction in the U.S., Canada, Peru, Mexico, and France. She lives in Paris and supports Purdue initiatives in France and throughout Europe. Davida Gondohusodo

Gondohusodo is a project manager at the Boeing Company, with extensive experience in process optimization, global project management, and cross-functional leadership. From Indonesia, she has worked in both small and large organizations across multiple countries, including the United States, Canada, and Indonesia. Gondohusodo previously served as director for a family-owned automotive business in Indonesia, where she led key initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive growth. As an industry leader, she presented at the 2014 Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers Annual Conference in Montreal, Canada. She earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Purdue and a Master of Science in engineering management from the University of Southern California. Rudra Rudy Shriram

Shriram is the president of DCM Shriram Industries, a based company based out of New Delhi, India, involved in manufacturing sugar, chemicals, alcohol, industrial fibers, and engineering products. He manages the company’s engineering vertical and defense ventures. An avid philanthropist, Shriram is vice president of Dribble Academy Foundation, a charitable organization providing more than 5,000 underprivileged children with guidance through basketball. He is the president of the Delhi chapter of the Purdue Alumni Network of India. He received the 2015 Outstanding Young Alumni Award and the 2019 Purdue Alumni Impact Award from the Purdue Alumni Association. He earned a Bachelor of Science in economics. Sunny Ting

Originally from Hong Kong, Ting earned a Bachelor of Science in pharmaceutical sciences and was active in the Purdue community. He has worked in the educational technology sector and the life sciences industry, driving the commercialization of new medicines and medical technologies. Now based in Shanghai, China, he has continued to be an involved Boilermaker, including serving as the president of the Shanghai chapter of the Purdue Alumni Network of China from 2017 to 2022.
