The Purdue Alumni Club of Cleveland consists of alumni in the Cleveland area, numbering over 6,000. Club activities may include game watches, annual dinners, golf outings, community service activities, networking events, and more! Check out the Purdue for Life events website to see what is happening in your area.
The Purdue Alumni Club of Cleveland awards a scholarship each year to an incoming and returning student from the greater Cleveland area.
The scholarships are awarded according to scholarship, activities, and service, as well as responses to several essay questions.
Scholarship applications are due June 30, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. ET. Applications and instructions for submission can be found at the following links:
Applicants are required to attend the Annual Scholarship / Back to School Picnic to receive a scholarship. There are no exceptions!

The Annual Scholarship / Back to School Picnic will be held on Sunday July 19, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Shelterhouse pavilion in Cleveland Metroparks South Chagrin Reservation. Picnic reservations must be made separately. Specific instructions on how to register for the picnic will be e-mailed to all scholarship applicants and Cleveland-area alumni and friends.
You can now purchase Alumni Club of Cleveland merchandise at the official Purdue for Life Foundation merchandise store. Offerings include branded shirts and outerwear for men and women, plus hats, blankets, tumblers, and more! Please note that you will be purchasing from Freckles Graphics, a preferred partner for merchandise.
While membership in the Purdue Alumni Association is not required to participate in club events, we encourage you to consider membership as these donations help support club activities and scholarships. You can learn more about becoming a member here.
